King Airport on St. Thomas are open and operating on normal schedules.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>VI Consortium<\/em> spoke with Monifa Marrero, public information officer for the Virgin Islands Port Authority, who confirmed Tuesday&#8217;s airport operations.<\/p>\n<p>According to one airport official, there have been some flight cancellations to the territory, largely due to inclement weather in certain U.S. states. Thus, Marrero urged travelers to contact airlines directly for the most current\u00a0flight information, as individual flight\u00a0information is not provided by the Virgin Islands Port Authority.<\/p>\n<p>For more details, visit the Port Authority&#8217;s Facebook page <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/USVIPORTS\">here<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seaborne Airlines<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seaborne Airlines has confirmed service interruptions due to Monday night&#8217;s\u00a0Hurricane Gonzalo, stating that &#8220;further delays and\/or cancellations may occur depending on local conditions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Airline officials are advising travelers to visit <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.seaborneairlines.com\/\">www.seaborneairlines.com<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and click on\u00a0the\u00a0Red Alert Bar at the top of the page for updated flight information.<\/p>\n<p>Should travelers need to reschedule a flight or have questions concerning a reservation, call\u00a0866-359-8784 or 787-946-7800.
