The remaining percentage was comprised of anonymous voters.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a chart with a percentage breakdown of respondents who voted publicly for the candidates. The poll opened\u00a0on Aug. 8 and closed on Nov. 3. Results of a recent scientific poll conducted by UVI, showed 28 percent of respondents intend to vote for the Mapp-Potter team, 23 percent for the Donna Christensen team, 5 percent for the Barnes-Coram team, and 4 percent for Diase-Coffelt-Canegata.<\/p>\n<p>Though the <em>VI Consortium&#8217;s<\/em> poll was not scientific in nature, it shows a race that is not decided, as voters weigh their options in what some deems as the most important election in a generation.<\/p>\n<p>Is the territory headed for a runoff? Will Mapp or Christensen win the election outright? Or, could there be an\u00a0upset by one of the other candidates?
