A St. Thomas man told police at the\u00a0Richard Callwood Command on Tuesday that, while walking on Fifth Street, two men approached him, one carrying a handgun, robbed him of $20 and casually walked away.\u00a0The incident took place at about 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile on St. John,\u00a0on the same day, a suspect wearing\u00a0a black hoodie, black ski mask, black shirt, pants and shoes entered the Love City Mini Mart carrying a handgun and demanded money.<\/p>\n

The store manager and an employee, who were closing the store, said the suspect grabbed\u00a0an envelope containing approximately $200 and several phone cards before leaving the store.<\/p>\n

Both cases are being followed up by the Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives, who ask anyone with information on the incident to call 712-6030, 712-6077, 911 or Crime Stoppers USVI at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
