A woman on St. John told police Monday she was sleeping in her home in Calabash Boom when she heard a noise. The woman said when she exited her\u00a0bedroom to investigate the source of the disturbance, she saw a man fleeing through a porch door located on the eastern side of her home.<\/p>\n
After the victim placed a call to 911, officers arrived at the residence\u00a0and found a small flip knife on a bed in another unoccupied bedroom.<\/p>\n
Nothing was reported missing from the home and no one was injured in the incident. The knife was confiscated and turned over to Forensic technicians for examination.<\/p>\n
