Governor John P. de Jongh, Jr. has signed a proclamation designating leave for the territory’s workers to participation in the 2014 Christmas Holiday Season, The St. Croix Christmas Carnival and inauguration activities for the Mapp-Potter administration. Days of leave are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Wednesday, December 24, 2014 (Christmas Eve) — Administrative leave 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Territory wide<\/li>\n
  2. Thursday, December 25, 2014 — Legal Holiday–Christmas Day<\/li>\n
  3. Friday, December 26, 2014 — Legal Holiday–Christmas Second Day or Boxing Day<\/li>\n
  4. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 — Administrative leave — St. Croix only — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. — St. Croix Carnival, Food, Arts & Craft Fair<\/li>\n
  5. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 — Administrative leave — 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. — Territory wide<\/li>\n
  6. Thursday, January 1, 2015 — Legal Holiday — New Year’s Day<\/li>\n
