The\u00a0Government Employees Service Commission (GESC)\u00a0Health Insurance Board of Trustees\u00a0is requiring retirees who are primary members over age 65 and who have dependents also over the age of 65 to pay balances in full by March 31 on their Plan F option of coverage offered by the V.I. Government through United Healthcare.<\/p>\n

The selection of the Plan F option meant that members agreed to the upgraded plan and the additional costs associated with it.<\/p>\n
The Board said it issued a letter from the Group Health Insurance office to applicable retirees specifically addressing the arrangement of payments.<\/p>\n
Members may call the Group Health Insurance offices at (340) 714-5000 in the St. Thomas-St. John District or (340) 718-8588 in the St. Croix District for more information. Members may also\u00a0visit the Division of Personnel\u00a0office locations\u00a0in the\u00a0GERS Complex,\u00a03438 Kronprindsens Gade, 3rd Floor on St. Thomas or at 3009 Orange Grove, Ste. 6 on St. Croix.<\/p>\n
