Governor Osbert Potter is informing the territory&#8217;s\u00a0real property owners that 2014 property tax bills will be issued by the end of February.<\/p>\n<p>A 5% discount will be given to property owners who pay their balances within the 30 days\u00a0following the issuance of the bills.<\/p>\n<p>The 2014 bills will reflect adjusted amounts for property owners who\u00a0have filed appeals that have been resolved. Bills will be adjusted for property owners whose appeals have not yet been resolved soon as the appeals are resolved.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, residents may contact the tax assessor&#8217;s office at (340) 773-6459 on St. Croix, (340) 776-8508 on St. Thomas, and (340) 776-6737 on St. John.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The office of Lt.
