VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced\u00a0the following arrests on St. Croix from Feb. 27 to March 1.<\/p>\n

Friday,\u00a0 February 27, 2015<\/strong> – Leon Nisbett<\/strong> of #58 Castle Coakley was arrested at 11:10 a.m. and charged with Reckless Endangerment after having caused a disturbance and firing several gun shots in the presence of more than one person in the Harbor View Apartments area. There was no bail set pending an advise-of-rights hearing. He was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility.<\/p>\n

Friday, February 27, 2015<\/strong> – Jaime Delgado<\/strong> of #337 Barren Spot was arrested at about 12:20 p.m.\u00a0and charged with contempt of court after he violated a court-imposed\u00a0restraining order by sending threatening text messages to his ex-girlfriend. He was held without bail at the Golden Grove Correctional facility pending an advice-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Friday, February 27, 2015<\/strong> – Wranda T. Dariah<\/strong> of #724 Barren Spot was arrested at 4:08 p.m. and charged with embezzlement by fiduciary after the manager of VI Terminal Services, LLC at HOVENSA discovered\u00a0through company bank statements that she was stealing money in the form of company checks totaling $81,772.22.\u00a0Dariah<\/strong> was released on her own recognizance by Judge Harold Willock with various conditions.<\/p>\n

Friday, February 27, 2015<\/strong> –\u00a0Nick George<\/strong> of #30 Estate St. John was arrested at 7:16 p.m. and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm after he was caught by police on Queen Mary Highway in the vicinity of Parris Tees with two firearms in his possession. Unable to post bail set at\u00a0$25,000,\u00a0he\u00a0was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending an advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 28, 2015<\/strong> \u2013 Isidore Martin<\/strong> of #139 Mon Bijou was arrested at about 5:07 p.m. and charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm in the area of Lo Loma Grocery in Mon Bijou.\u00a0Martin<\/strong> had a firearm with an obliterated serial number along with a vial of marijuana in his possession. Unable to post bail set at $25,000, he was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending an advise -of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 28, 2015<\/strong> –\u00a0Burton Massiah<\/strong> of #100 Humbug was arrested at 6:12 p.m. and charged with third-degree assault after he drew a machete on a police officer and attempted to strike the officer in the area of #1 & 2 Eastern Suburb Christiansted.\u00a0Unable to post bail set at\u00a0$25,000, he was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending an advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 28, 2015<\/strong> –\u00a0Carlos Steele, Jr.<\/strong> of #1 Estate Sion Farm was arrested at 7:30 p.m. and charged with first-degree assault after he assaulted another man\u00a0with a hatchet in the vicinity of the Sion Farm Gas Station. Unable to post bail set at $75,000, he was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending an advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Sunday, March 1, 2015<\/strong> –\u00a0Joannes Francois<\/strong> of #12AE Calquohoun was arrested at 1:15 p.m. and charged with second-degree burglary (domestic violence) after he entered his ex-girlfriend’s apartment without permission at #2B Carib Villas.
