Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Hope SDA Church grounds, on the corner of the stoplight between Mon Bijou and Midland Road<\/p>\n
Details<\/strong>:\u00a0As part of their launch of a series of\u00a0gospel meetings for the community, members of the Hope and Central Seventh-day Adventist Churches are inviting everyone to a day of FREE\u00a0health screening services. Health professionals will be on hand to offer the following:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022 HIV testing
\n\u2022 Blood pressure screening
\n\u2022 Blood sugar screening (please bring a snack if blood sugar is being checked)
\n\u2022 Body fat percentage screening<\/p>\n

At 11 a.m., the “Youth with a Vision 10,000” Gospel Series will kick off its two-week effort, where youth from both churches will share their experiences in developing a relationship with God.<\/p>\n

Details:\u00a0<\/strong>Rotary Club of St. Croix Mid-Isle will celebrate Rotary Day at the Christiansted Community Alliance Fair. In recognition\u00a0of Rotary’s Literacy Month, a professional storyteller will give a presentation to\u00a0children and FREE books will be handed out. Students may pick up\u00a0applications for Rotary Mid-Isle’s college scholarships. In addition, a\u00a02015 Jeep Patriot SUV will be on display, which is the grand prize of the club’s $10 raffle currently going on (second place is $1,000 cash and $500 cash for third place). The raffle drawing is April 25.<\/div>\n
