VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced the following arrests on St. Thomas from May 24-27.<\/p>\n

Sunday, May 24, 2015 \u2013 Corry Lee Christensen, 29<\/strong>\u00a0was arrested and charged with destruction of property in connection with an incident where he admitted to breaking the front-door of the\u00a0UVI Cafeteria. Unable to post bail of $500, Christensen was remanded to\u00a0the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Monday, May 25, 2015 \u2013 Euphene Hyacinth, 35<\/strong> of Anna\u2019s Retreat was arrested and charged with assault in relation to an incident where he struck a woman with a rock, causing visible injuries in\u00a0addition to destruction of property for breaking the windshield of the victim\u2019s vehicle. No bail was set\u00a0for Hyacinth, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Monday, May 25, 2015 \u2013 Nora C. Smith, 30<\/strong>\u00a0of Smith Bay was arrested and charged with driving under\u00a0the influence (DUI) after she was involved in an auto collision and failed a field sobriety test. Bail for\u00a0Nora C. Smith was set at $500 by Court order.<\/p>\n

Monday, May 25, 2015 \u2013Elvin Jacobs, 49<\/strong>\u00a0of Tutu High-rise was arrested and charged with grand larceny after he was positively identified via video surveillance cameras as the person who removed\u00a0several mobile phones from the Choice store without paying for them on the date of April 6,\u00a02015. Bail for Elvin Jacobs was set at $3,500 by Court order.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 26, 2015 \u2013 Joseph Mack, 25<\/strong> of Estate Fredendal was arrested and charged with destruction of property after destroying government property. Mark was also charged with delaying and obstruction.\u00a0Unable to post bail of $1,500, Mack was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 26, 2015 \u2013 Bernard Blasingame Jr., 33<\/strong> of St. John was arrested and charged with destruction of property after destroying government property and property belonging to the Slim Man\u00a0Parking Lot. Bail for Bernard Blasingame Jr. was set at $505.00<\/p>\n

Tuesday, May 26, 2015 – Karim S. Salem, 24<\/strong> of Sugar Estate was arrested and charged with stalking\u00a0(DV) after being observed driving around the home of a couple repeatedly, causing them to fear for\u00a0their lives. No bail was set for Salem and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections\u00a0pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n
