ST. CROIX — Fugitive from justice Javon T.S. Duparl was extradited back to the island by Florida police on Wednesday for charges related to a 2013 murder in Frederiksted, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced today.<\/p>\n

Duparl was wanted in relation to the June, 2013 murder of Andy Peters that occurred in the Lorraine Village Apartments in Frederiksted.<\/p>\n

Duparl was arrested in Orange County, Florida on a concealed weapon and narcotics possession charge. However, while being processed, police discovered that Duparl was wanted on murder charges in the Virgin Islands.<\/p>\n
