Lieutenant Governor Osbert E. Potter, in his capacity as Commissioner of Insurance and\u00a0Liquidator, is now in the final phase of liquidating the assets of American Alliance Insurance Company, Ltd., Island National Insurance Company, and Phoenix Fire and Marine Insurance\u00a0Company, Ltd, and residents with valid, outstanding claims against the aforementioned firms are being urged to file their claims immediately.<\/p>\n
That’s according to a press release issued by the Lieutenant Governor’s Office on Tuesday, advising residents who believe they’ve suffered losses, unearned premiums or some other valid claim which entitles\u00a0claimants to receive payment, to contact the Office of the Lieutenant Governor,\u00a0Division of Banking and Insurance, for more information on how to obtain payment.<\/p>\n
Proof of claim must be submitted along with the claim, according to the press release.<\/p>\n
Potter stressed that claimants are not entitled to receive payments for\u00a0claims which have already been settled and paid in full. All inquiries regarding the payment of\u00a0claims or the filing of claims should be made at either of the following locations:<\/p>\n
