Lewis sentenced Luke Lubrin, 46,\u00a0to four years of probation on Wednesday for manufacturing marijuana, United States Attorney Ronald W.\u00a0Sharpe announced via press release.<\/p>\n<p>In February, Lubrin pleaded guilty to one count of manufacture of marijuana.<\/p>\n<p>As part of his plea,\u00a0Lubrin admitted to growing marijuana on his property in Frederiksted. On June 26, 2014, a\u00a0total of 58 marijuana plants were found on Lubrin\u2019s property by special agents with the United States\u00a0Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the term of probation, Lubrin was sentenced to serve six months of home confinement\u00a0and a $1,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p>The case was investigated by DEA and was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Rami S.\u00a0Badawy and Alphonso Andrews.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>St. Croix &#8212; Chief District Court Judge Wilma A.
