CROIX &#8212; The Department of Planning and Natural Resources has released its findings after examining the territory&#8217;s beaches for safety, and has made known that all the beaches tested met\u00a0water quality standards and are safe for swimming or fishing this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>But Grapetree Bay remains untested, DPRN says, because it was unable to sample the beach&#8217;s waters due to heavy seaweed along the shoreline.<\/p>\n<p>On St. Croix, the beaches safe for activity this weekend include\u00a0Stoney Ground, Protestant Cay, Chenay Bay, Buccaneer, Cane Bay, Cramer Park, Rainbow, Shoy\u2019s, New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta), Pelican Cove (Comorant), Halfpenny, Princess (Condo Row), Dorsch, Frederiksted Public Beach, Columbus Landing and Sprat Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The beaches cleared for activity in St. Thomas this weekend are the following:<\/p>\n<p>Secret Harbor, Hull Bay, Brewer\u2019s Bay, Lindquist, Bolongo Bay, Sapphire, Bluebeards, Frenchman\u2019s Bay,\u00a0Vessup Bay, Magen\u2019s Bay, Coki Point, Lindbergh Bay and Water Bay.<\/p>\n<p>Cruz Bay, Oppenhiemer, Johnson\u2019s Bay, Great Cruz Bay and Frank Bay are safe this weekend in St. John, according to DPNR.<\/p>\n<p>For additional information regarding water quality, call the Division of Environmental Protection at 773-1082 in St. Croix.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Feature Image: Grapetree Bay, St. Croix.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Image Credit: <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spencerboerup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Spencer Boerup<\/a><\/span>.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ST.
