ST. THOMAS — Bluebears and Secret Harbor beaches are not safe for swimming and fishing this weekend, DPNR has made known in its weekly water quality press release issued this afternoon.<\/p>\n
Aside from the beaches found to be unsafe, DPNR says most of the territory’s shores are good for swimming and fishing this weekend, including the following:<\/p>\n
St. Croix<\/strong><\/p>\n Stoney Ground, Protestant Cay, Chenay Bay, Buccaneer, Cane Bay, Cramer Park, Rainbow, Shoy\u2019s, New Fort (Ft. Louise Augusta), Pelican Cove (Comorant), Halfpenny, Princess (Condo Row), Dorsch, Frederiksted Public Beach, Sprat Hall and Pelican Cove (Comorant).<\/p>\n St. Thomas<\/strong><\/p>\n Hull Bay, Brewer\u2019s Bay, Lindquist, Bolongo Bay, Sapphire, Frenchman\u2019s Bay, Vessup Bay, Magen\u2019s Bay, Coki Point, Lindbergh Bay and Water Bay.<\/p>\n St. John<\/strong><\/p>\n Cruz Bay, Oppenhiemer, Great Cruz Bay and Frank Bay.<\/p>\n According to DPNR,\u00a0 Grapetree Bay and Columbus Landing <\/span>on St. Croix could not be sampled this week due to the heavy presence of seaweed along the shoreline.
