ST. CROIX — Ten years after he was gunned down execution style, the family of the late Prominent BVI Attorney Kendoy Penn would hold a remembrance, titled: \u201810 Years After\u2019 to commemorate the anniversary of his passing.<\/p>\n
Penn\u2019s family said the event will take place at Aritha Maloney Humphrey\u2019s residence in East End, Tortola on Saturday, September 19th from 4:30 p.m. \u2013 5: 30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Kendoy was shot several times in his vehicle in the vicinity of his home in Old Plantation, East End on Sunday, September 19, 2005.<\/p>\n
He succumbed to his injuries on September 22, 2005.<\/p>\n
Penn\u2019s murder is a cold case to this day as law enforcement authorities have been a unable to pin anyone to the crime.\u00a0It was said about two years ago that lawmen made progress with the case, but nothing has come of it since.<\/p>\n
The prominent lawyer had high hopes of appearing before the European Court of Justice and to later lead the Virgin Islands as Chief Minister, as it was known then.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
