Abramson Marine Facility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Carlton Dowe announced that the Authority is seeking Request for Proposals from qualified companies to provide public taxi service at the Ann E. Abramson Marine Facility on St. Croix.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Request for Proposal packages may be obtained free of charge under the Business section of the Authority\u2019s Web site at www.viport.com.\u00a0 Packages may also be obtained for $100 each (non-refundable) at the VIPA purchasing department offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix.\u00a0 Sealed proposals are due by <b class=\"\">November 5 at 3 p.m. (AST)<\/b>. \u00a0Proposals received after that time will not be accepted, said Dowe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Dowe said that interested parties will be given an opportunity to ask questions at a pre-submittal meeting, which will be held on St. Croix on October 15 at 10 a.m. in the conference room of the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal. Immediately following the meeting, VIPA will host a site visit at the Abramson Facility.\u00a0 Persons interested in registering for the tour should email <\/span><span class=\"\">jsantana@viport.com<span class=\"\">.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">He also invited the public to contact the VIPA&#8217;s Property Management department with any questions in writing to <\/span><span class=\"\">Denise M.
