Friday, November 20, 2015<\/b> \u2013 David Schaffner, 30,\u00a0<\/b>of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with third\u00a0<\/b>degree assault\u00a0at 9:00 p.m., after assaulting two police officers and resisting arrest for public intoxication. Schaffner\u2019s bail was set to $50,000 by order of the court, and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Sunday, November 22, 2015<\/b> \u2013 Akil Smith, 23,<\/b> of<\/strong> Estate Thomas,<\/b> was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm at 3:50 a.m., <\/b>after a 9mm handgun was found in the vehicle he was operating.\u00a0 Bail for Smith was set to $25,000.00, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Sunday, November 22, 2015<\/b> \u2013 at roughly 6:27 a.m.,\u00a0Franklin Cuevas, 39 <\/b>of Estate St. Peter <\/b>was arrested and charged with third degree assault\u00a0after he was identified by security at the La Delicia Bar as the individual who instigated a fight and admitted to assaulting the victim with a rock. Cuevas\u2019s bail was set to $25,000, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Monday, November 23, 2015<\/b> \u2013 Alexis Cordero, 47,<\/b> of Savan<\/b> was arrested and charged with\u00a0<\/b>driving under the influence, after he caused an auto collision. During the standard field sobriety test, Codero was unable to keep a steady balance, which resulted in the test being discontinued. His bail was set to $1,500, and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Monday, November 23, 2015<\/b> \u2013 Halvor E. Hart lll, 48<\/b> of Annas Fancy,<\/b> was arrested on an arrest warrant for\u00a0<\/b>fraudulent use of a credit card, <\/b>issued by the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands. Bail for Hart was set to $35,000.00 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Saturday, November 28, 2015<\/b> \u2013 <\/b>at approximately 1:04 p.m., Lorna George, a resident of the Mitchell Motel in Contant,\u00a0<\/b>was interviewed at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Hospital. According to the report, Lorna was attacked in front of her residence by an unknown male, who forced himself into her room and stole her purse containing documents and cash. The unknown male then fled the scene by foot. This matter is still under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.<\/p>\n

Sunday, November 29, 2015<\/b> \u2013 Julio Ramos, 27,<\/b> of the Paul M. Pearson Gardens Housing Community,<\/b> was arrested and charged with simple assault\u00a0at 2:45 pm, <\/b>after he struck his uncle in the face causing lacerations to his left eye. Ramos was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Sunday, November 29, 2015<\/b> \u2013 at roughly 9:37 a.m., Isiah George, 31,\u00a0<\/b>of Bolongo<\/b> was arrested and charged with disturbance of the peace\u00a0after he created a disturbance at the Christian Ministries Church and disobeyed orders given by an officer. Bail for George was set at $2,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, December 1, 2015<\/b> at 6:24 p.m., Ishmael Abdulmutaal, 61 of Annas Retreat<\/b> was arrested on Weymouth Rhymer Highway and charged with driving under the influence after being involved in an auto incident. Bail for Abdulmutaal was set at $500.00 by order of the court. No one was reported injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, December 1, 2015<\/b> at 10:38 p.m., a minor was arrested at the Edith L. Williams Elementary School and charged with aggravated assault and battery.\u00a0 The minor was placed into protective custody after attempting to assault an officer and school monitor.<\/p>\n
