THOMAS &#8212; Police here arrested and then released to his mother a minor, for first degree aggravated rape, after he was identified as the individual who performed inappropriate oral sex with a female minor, according to VIPD Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman. Ms. Freeman said the arrest occurred on Monday at about 10:20 a.m. It was unclear as to whether the incident occurred on the same day.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in St. Thomas, on Sunday, Jan. 24 at about\u00a0approximately 3:32 a.m, Kareem Huggins (seen <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/viconsortium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Kareem-Huggins.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a><\/span>), 29, of Contant\u00a0was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm after he was stopped during a police initiative on Alton Adams Drive in the vicinity of the Illusions Night Club located in Barbel Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>According to a VIPD press release issued today, further investigation revealed that the firearm found in Mr. Huggins&#8217; possession had been taken from a police officer during an armed robbery that took place in 2009. Mr. Huggins was then additionally charged with robbery and possession of stolen property.<\/p>\n<p>Unable to make bail of $120,000, he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending advise-of-rights hearing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ST.
