ST. THOMAS — Governor Kenneth Mapp will travel to\u00a0the National Governors Association\u2019s (N.G.A.) annual meeting in Washington, D.C. today, a press release Government House issued on Thursday says.<\/p>\n

According to the release, each year N.G.A. holds its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. and meetings with federal officials, to include the president and White House staff.<\/span><\/p>\n

The governor will return to the territory on February 25, with Lt. Governor Osbert Potter serving as the acting governor in his absence<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
