ST. THOMAS — The Downtown Revitalization, Inc. food truck event, dubbed St. Thomas Eats: A Food Truck Fete, returns to Main Street, Charlotte Amalie today, and will be bigger and better than ever with 10 trucks registered, a press release the organization issued Tuesday says.<\/p>\n

According to the group, patrons should look forward to additional lighting, waterfront parking and portable bathrooms. There will also be tents, tables and chairs for more convivial dining as well as music from favorite island entertainers.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe previous Friday Nights Eats gathered more than 800 individuals who may have not visited Main Street without the event,” said Dorothy Maguire Isaacs, event coordinator. “We expect even more people this time around.”<\/p>\n

Residents, visitors and everyone who\u2019s looking for some great local eats, should ready themselves to come Downtown for an evening of island cuisine and entertainment, according \u00a0to the release. Patrons are encouraged to try tastes from favorite food vans and make sure to get a ballot to vote for the People\u2019s Choice award for the best vendors, the release added.<\/p>\n

The release encourages residents and visitors alike to attend the fete, which it says promises to be an exciting affair, and will help create a more vibrant Downtown, while discovering the best in mobile food.<\/p>\n
