In a release issued Tuesday afternoon, the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority said work to restore power in various communities territory-wide that were affected during Monday night’s thunderstorm, continued late Tuesday.<\/p>\n
WAPA said its line department crews are dispatched to address numerous isolated service interruptions across the islands. An isolated service interruption is defined as an interruption of service to at least one customer.<\/p>\n
Areas reporting service interruptions on St. Croix include: Cotton Valley, Sally’s Fancy, Lowry Hill, Golden Rock, La Grande Princesse, Morning Star, Estate St. John, Constitution Hill, Judith’s Fancy, Concordia East, Clairmont, Mary’s Fancy, Mon Bijou, Annas Hope, Ruby, La Reine, Aureo Diaz Heights, St. George Hill and St. George’s, La Grange, Two Williams, Estate Plessen, Annaly, Mount Victory and Prospect Hill.<\/p>\n
Areas reporting service interruptions on St. Thomas include: Lindbergh Bay, Norre Gade, St. Peter, Wintberg, Hassel Island, Peterborg and Contant.<\/p>\n
