THOMAS &#8212; The Virgin Islands Port Authority on Monday announced that it has set a September 16 reopening date for daily commercials flight at the Cyrile E. King Airport, but stressed that the date is tentative, and could change. V.I.P.A. has been working to get the airport back online, after it sustained what V.I.P.A. described as &#8220;extensive&#8221;\u00a0 damage during Hurricane Irma.<\/p>\n<p>V.I.P.A. also announced that American Airlines will resume flights to St. Croix on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The authority is encouraging\u00a0<span class=\"\">the public to call their respective airlines to verify flight information to and from the territory:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">American Airlines: 1-800-433-7300<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Cape Air: 1-800-352-0714<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Delta Airlines: 1-800-221-1212<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Jet Blue: 1-800-538-2583<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Seaborne Airlines: 1-800-359-8687<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Spirit Airlines: 1-800-772-7117<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">United Airlines: 1-800-864-8331<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\">US Airways: 1-800-428-4322<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><b class=\"\">SEAPORTS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"\">All seaports on St. Croix are open and fully operational.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">The is currently no seaplane service available.\u00a0 VIPA will announce when service resumes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">All seaports in the St. Thomas\/St. John district are open.\u00a0 However, service between Cruz Bay, St. John and Red Hook, St. Thomas is limited to daylight hours only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><b class=\"\">VIPA EMPLOYEES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\" type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"\">All VIPA employees should report to work.\u00a0 Employee identification badges may be used as a curfew pass.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">For more information, please contact VIPA\u2019s public relations office at (340) 714-6639 or<a class=\"\" href=\"mailto:info@viport.com\">info@viport.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ST.
