{"id":56622,"date":"2017-09-12T12:56:37","date_gmt":"2017-09-12T12:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/viconsortium.com\/?p=56622"},"modified":"2017-09-12T12:56:37","modified_gmt":"2017-09-12T12:56:37","slug":"dept-of-health-reopens-st-thomas-prenatal-clinic-post-hurricane-irma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/wp.viconsortium.com\/?p=56622","title":{"rendered":"Dept. of Health Reopens St. Thomas Prenatal Clinic Post Hurricane Irma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Health\u2019s prenatal clinic on St. Thomas will reopen its doors today from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., after being affected by Hurricane Irma, Health officials announced Monday.<\/p>\n<p>In order to provide services, the Prenatal Clinic has relocated to the Family Planning Clinic site, which is located at the Elaine Co\/Maternal &amp; Child Health building, across from Nisky Center &amp; the Moravian school, D.O.H. said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur clinical staff are eager to resume providing clinical care and guidance for the pregnant women in the St. Thomas\/St. John district,&#8221; said Health Commissioner Michelle Davis. &#8220;We are asking all pregnant women on St. Thomas\/St\/. John to be vigilant with continuing prenatal care, and to please remember to stay hydrated by drinking at least 10 glasses of water per day.
