CROIX &#8212; A third Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) opened today in St. Thomas to provide information and help for survivors of hurricanes Irma and Maria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Like all DRCs in the Virgin Islands, the new center is open from\u00a08:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily\u00a0until further notice. It is located at:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Tutu Park Mall, 4605 Tutu Park Mall, Suite 233, Charlotte Amalie.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Disaster Recovery Centers offer one-on-one support to homeowners, renters and small-business owners as a result of the major disaster declarations stemming from the hurricanes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) are available to help survivors register for assistance, provide information on the federal aid that is available, and answer questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">The other two recovery centers in St. Thomas are at:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><strong class=\"\">New Hotel Company Omar Brown Fire Station, Conference Room #108, 100A Ross Taarenberg, Charlotte Amalie,\u00a0<\/strong>and<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"\"><span class=\"\"><strong class=\"\">Bordeaux Farmers Market, 109 East Bordeaux, Estate Bordeaux.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">Survivors with connectivity may register with FEMA for assistance at\u00a0<a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/fema.pr-optout.com\/Tracking.aspx?Data=HHL%3d9267%3b%26JDG%3c%3a9%3a-%3b3%40%26SDG%3c90%3a.&amp;RE=MO&amp;RI=1731304&amp;Preview=False&amp;DistributionActionID=34234&amp;Action=Follow+Link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u class=\"\">DisasterAssistance.gov<\/u><\/a>, or by calling\u00a0<strong class=\"\">800-621-3362<\/strong>. Individuals who have a speech disability or hearing loss and use TTY should call 800-462-7585 directly. Those who use 711 or Video Relay Service (VRS) may call 800-621-3362.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><span class=\"\">These toll-free telephone numbers operate from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (local time) seven days a week.
