The Department of Education has announced an updated orientation schedule for the Elena Christian Junior High School. According to D.O.E., E.C.J.H.S.’s orientation will be held at 8:00 a.m. at the former Manor School location in La Grande Princesse (seen above) on Tuesday, September 4.<\/p>\n
Following the orientation, parents and students will be dismissed. All students will then return for a full day of instruction on Wednesday, September 5, according to D.O.E.<\/p>\n
Students are required to be dressed in full uniform for the orientation, the department said.<\/p>\n
D.O.E. also announced the orientation schedule for the Yvonne E. Milliner-Bowsky Elementary School for all students in grades K \u2013 6. The orientation will be held at the school.<\/p>\n
During the designated orientation times parents\/guardians are asked to present immunization records for students and pay required school fees, including $18 for school insurance and $22 for Physical Education (PE) uniform set ($11 for PE t-shirt and $11 for PE shorts), D.O.E. said. Families who do not wish to purchase school insurance must present a photocopy of an insurance card (front and back) on which the student is covered. New students must have official placement letter from the Curriculum Center. In addition, students utilizing school bus transportation services are required to submit one passport sized photo.<\/p>\n
