ST. CROIX — A man who police believe fired several gunshots during the morning time of February 24 at a vehicle whose driver was a woman, was arrested on Tuesday morning, V.I.P.D. Public Information Officer Glen Dratte has announced.<\/p>\n
Mr. Dratte said police learned of the February 24 incident after a woman told officers at the Wilbur Francis Command Police Station that someone had fired several gunshots at her vehicle in Estate Mon Bijou.<\/p>\n
According to police, an investigation into the incident revealed that a Rastafarian male, later identified as 32-year-old Allan Brady III, stood in the middle of the roadway and aimed a hand gun at a moving vehicle and discharged several gunshots.<\/p>\n
The vehicle was struck and sustained damage to the rear side window. A search and arrest warrant was then issued for the arrest of Mr. Brady, according to police.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday at approximately 5:30 a.m., members of the Criminal Investigation Bureau (C.I.B.) and the Special Operation Bureau executed the warrant, however, Mr. Brady was not at his residence. Later in the morning at about 8:49 a.m., the suspect turned himself in.<\/p>\n
He was then served with an arrest warrant and placed under arrest for first-degree reckless endangerment, unauthorized possession of a firearm, aiming and discharging a firearm, and possession of ammunition, according to Mr. Dratte.<\/p>\n
Unable to make bail of $50,000, Mr. Brady was remanded to the Golden Grove Correctional Facility pending his advisement hearing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
