USVI-based Air Ambulance Caribbean\/AeroMD has been awarded medical transport accreditation by National Accreditation Alliance of Medical Transport Applications (NAAMTA) for their fixed-wing medical transport service, a release issued today has made known. AeroMD is a full-service air ambulance provider that is committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of care and attention.<\/p>\n
According to the release, AeroMD subscribed to a comprehensive audit of NAAMTA Standards, which identifies criteria in all aspects of medical transport, including business policies, licensure, education, skills maintenance, communication, and safety. Awarding AeroMD accreditation denotes compliance with each of the defined standards and incorporates best practice procedures, the release said.<\/p>\n
NAAMTA substantiates compliance through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2015 auditing guidelines.<\/p>\n
