The Department of Education has released its 2018-19 school calendar showing pertinent school activities as well as holidays.<\/p>\n[embeddoc url=”https:\/\/viconsortium.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/School-Calendar-2018-2019-Updated-11-21-2018.pdf”]\n
Elsewhere, the Charlotte Amalie High School announced that the new daily start and end times for students, beginning Monday, November 26 will be 8:10 a.m. \u2013 3:45 p.m.<\/p>\n
According to D.O.E., the temporary change in the schedule will be in effect until January 30, 2019 and serves to make up instructional time lost during the delay in school openings at the beginning of the school year.<\/p>\n
The new bell schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n
Period 1: 8:10 \u2013 9:50 a.m.<\/p>\n
Period 2: 9:55 \u2013 11:35 a.m.<\/p>\n
