Governor Albert Bryan has granted administrative leave to non-essential government employees on St. Croix, one of his first actions as governor, giving St. Croix residents an opportunity to participate in inaugural activities set for Tuesday on the island.<\/p>\n

The announcement was made before Mr. Bryan was inaugurated as the territory’s 9th elected governor today in the Emancipation Garden on St. Thomas (story on the inauguration coming up.)<\/p>\n

Mr. Bryan will also grant administration leave Wednesday for all non-essential government employees on the islands of St. Thomas and St. John in recognition of the inaugural activities on St. John that day.<\/p>\n
