As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, approximately 9,525 votes were cast in the St. Croix District and 9,278 in the St. Thomas-St. John District, according to a press release from the Elections Systems of the Virgin Islands. This brings the total vote count to 24,570, and that’s without numbers for the three remaining hours.

The screen shot below shows the break down by polling place.
