Gov. De Jongh Wants ABR VI Sales Process Completed, Transaction Closed And Refinery Opened

Governor John de Jongh, Jr. on Monday expressed his desire to move forward with the ABR VI deal for the purchase of HOVENSA that is currently before the Senate for ratification.

In an audio recording issued to local media from Government House, de Jongh said ABR VI was properly vetted and that the transaction between the VI Government and the company should be finalized in order to get St. Croix residents back to work.
