St. Thomas Man Robbed of iPhone 5, $350 At Yacht Haven

A St. Thomas man was robbed at gunpoint of his backpack containing cash, electronics and other valuables at the Yacht Haven Grande Marina early Sunday morning, police spokesperson Melody Rames announced.

Police were called to the marina just before 4 a.m. on Dec. 21. The victim reported that as he was walking toward his yacht, he was approached by two gun-toting male suspects who ran off after taking his backpack that contained a silver iPad, a silver iPod, iPhone 5, $350 cash and other items.

Detectives in the Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating the case.
