Parking Restrictions For Inaugural Parade And Open House Ceremony Announced

St. Croix Police Chief James Parris has announced parking restrictions for the post Inauguration Military Parade and Open House Reception for Governor Kenneth Mapp and Lt. Governor Osbert Potter.

They are as follows:

There will be no parking in Frederiksted on Fisher Street to King Street and King Street to Buddhoe Park on January 6 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be no parking in Christiansted on King Cross Street and Strand Lane from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Additionally, Chief Parris has set parking restrictions along the route of the Crucian-Rican annual Holiday breakfast in Christiansted on January 6.
There will be no parking from Bassin Triangle down King Street to the waterfront continuing on Hospital Street and south on Company Street to King Cross Street.
All vehicles found parked in these restricted areas will be towed at the owners expense.
