Fabian Towers was injured by gunfire Thursday afternoon in St. Thomas after unknown suspects opened gunfire at the vehicle he was in, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson announced.
According Jackson, Towers was traveling westward on Brookman Road when shots were fired at the vehicle. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the right side of his body.
Towers was already being treated for his injuries when Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Bureau arrived at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Hospital at 3:30 p.m.
