A water service interruption has been scheduled for the St. Thomas eastend area from 1 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Feb. 27, the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) has announced.
Customers from Four Winds Shopping Plaza to Thomasville, including the Bovoni Housing Community, will be affected while crews activate a new pressure-reducing valve.
WAPA said the work had been previously scheduled to take place, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Authority officials say crews will work to ensure water service is restored as quickly as possible.
