On Tues., March 24, vehicular traffic on Seventh Day Street in St. Thomas will be re-routed to allow crews with the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s (WAPA) distribution department to make repairs to a leaking 24-inch water main, the Authority announced Monday.
As a result of the repairs, there will be a water service interruption in the Estate Thomas (south of Raphune Hill) area. WAPA did not specify how long the service interruption will last.
Motorists are asked to follow directional signs and flagmen instructions for the safety of crews, pedestrians and other drivers.
