ST. THOMAS — Lawrence King of Savan was arrested on April 1 on a charge of attempted burglary after he attempted to gain entry into a place of business on Percy de Jongh Drive, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson has announced.
According to Jackson, the 58-year-old man shattered the front glass door of the business with a concrete paver, and later returned to the property threatening to burn the building down in the presence of police.
Bail for King was set at $10,000, however he was unable to post the required amount and was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advise of Rights hearing.
