5% Discount for 2014 Property Taxes Extended Until April 30

ST. CROIX – The five percent discount period for 2014 property taxes has been extended until Thursday, April 30, Lt. Gov. Osbert Potter announced via news release on Wednesday.

There won’t be any additional discounts after the month has ended, the release stated.

The Tax Colllector’s offices are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Payments can made at the following locations:

  • Islandia Building – St. John
  • Builder’s Emporium – St. Thomas
  • 1105 King Street (Government House, Christiansted);1131 King Street, Suite #101 (Christiansted); – St. Croix

Department of Finance, Sunny Isle; #1 Lagoon Street, Frederiksted – St. Croix

Payments can be deposited in the collection boxes that are available at the Builder’s Emporium and the Sunny Isle and Frederiksted locations, according to the release. Property owners can also pay their 2014 tax bill at any Tax Collector’s Office even if they do not have the bill with them at the time.
