ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) has announced an emergency power interruption for Monday night from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., to feeder #1 located in downtown Christiansted, from the library to the St. Croix Foundation building.
According to WAPA, the power interruption is to allow crews to repair a blown underground transformer that was discovered on Sunday.
Motorists are asked to observe the flagger’s directions in the area while crews work to restore service.
