ST. CROIX – Police said parking in downtown Christiansted will be restricted due to tonight’s Jump Up event.
Starting at 5 p.m. May 1, parking is prohibited:
*On King Street beginning at the intersection of King and King Cross Street.
*On Church Street, between King and Company Streets.
*On Queen Cross Street, between King and Company Streets.
*On Queen Cross Street, from the intersection of King and Queen Cross Streets to the parking area adjacent to the boardwalk.
Police said vehicles found parked in the restricted areas will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
The restrictions will remain in effect until Jump Up is over, police said.
