Police Report Fourth Murder In Three Days In St. Thomas

ST. THOMAS – Charlotte Amalie was rocked by the news of a fourth murder reported in the last three days when a 22-year-old man’s bullet-riddled body was discovered in Estate Anna’s Retreat near a church, according to the Virgin Islands Police Department.

Police said the unresponsive body of Tishawn Van Holten was discovered in the roadway near Holy Family Catholic Church after officers responded to an an emergency call of shots fired Tuesday May 4 at 9:30 p.m. in Anna’s Retreat.

There have 18 homicides in the territory in 2015, twelve of them in St. Thomas.
