ST. THOMAS — A man who lives in the Paul M. Pearson Garden Housing Community was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly robbing a victim at gunpoint, Kevin Jackson, VIPD public information officer has announced.

According to police, 19-year-old Caheem Ajane Johnson and another male forced the victim to give up his silver link necklace with a rotating rims pendant, and a silver link hand chain with a total value of $140.00. This was done while Johnson held a gun to the victim’s face.

The victim also stated that he was ordered to hand over his iPhone 4s, along with a black and gray rechargeable case valued at $180.

Johnson was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing, after failing to make bail of $75,000.
