ST. JOHN — Real property owners are being advised that a representative of the Tax Collector’s Office will be at the Tax Assessor’s Office at the Islandia Building today, according to a press release issued by the Lieutenant Governor’s Office on Tuesday.
The representative will be present from 10:00 A.M – 2:00 P.M. to accept applications for those who wish to establish an installment agreement/payment plan for delinquent property taxes with the Government of the Virgin Islands.
Persons in default of their payment agreements are encouraged to come in and make payment in full or discuss the possibility of entering into a new agreement.
Property owners with questions regarding property tax delinquencies should contact the Tax Collector’s Office at (340) 776-8505 on St. Thomas, (340) 776-6737 on St. John, (340) 773-1105 in Christiansted or (340) 772-0120 at the Frederiksted Office.
