ST. CROIX — The Virgin Islands Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in locating two convicted felons now on the loose, according to Kevin Jackson, VIDP’s public information officer.

The first, Khadeem Rosario, a 20-year-old Hispanic male, is wanted for burglary in the second degree. Rosario has brown hair, black eyes, stands 5′, weighs 130lbs and has a tattoo on his neck that reads, “Diane”.

The wanted man also goes by the alias “Gapo”, and is known to frequent the Paradise Mills Apartments in Frederiksted.


Police is also searching for a man named Akeem Herbert, wanted on first degree burglary, grand larceny and aggravated assault and battery charges. Herbert is a 24-year-old black male with a dark complexion. He has brown  eyes, black dread locks, is 6′ tall and weighs 230lbs.

Herbert, who also goes by the alias “Creams”, is known to frequent the D. Hamilton  Jackson Housing Community (Red Brick), Ruby M. Rouss Apartments (Watergut) in Christiansted and Walter I.M. Hodge Housing Community (Safarelli) in Frederiksted.

The VIPD is asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of the two men to contact Detective Gregory Charlery of the Domestic Violence Unit at 340-712-6026, 911 or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-8477.
