THE POSITION BELOW IS VACANT IN THE VIRGIN ISLANDS SUPREME COURT:

Position Title: Chief Financial Officer

Location: Territorial

Salary: $91,597 – $96,234

Deadline: July 10, 2015 at 4 pm (Atlantic Standard Time) or until filled

Nature of Work: The Chief Financial Officer provides leadership, guidance, technical expertise and team coordination to support implementation of the Supreme Court’s strategic initiatives in the areas of fiscal management, budget analysis, financial reporting, fiscal control and auditing.

Requirements: A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, and/or business administration is required, supplemented by a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible accounting and financial experience including a minimum of three (3) years of management experience. Leadership experience in public sector financial management, budgeting, and fiscal analysis strongly preferred. A combination of other education and experience may be considered at the discretion of the Court. Certification in Public Accounting is strongly preferred.
