ST. CROIX — The National Park Service (NPS) is inviting the summer camps to come out and view ‘Packaging St. Croix U.S. Virgin Islands’ 2015 exhibit at the Christiansted National Historic Site’s Historic Steeple Building, the NPS announced via press release on Friday.
The federal agency is asking interested parties to call the NPS for viewing times.
Students from both the St. Croix Central and the St. Croix Educational Complex High Schools completed this year’s exhibit. They used their creative expressions to fill the walls with portraits, architectural drawings, posters, masks, commercials, miniature plantations, and a display on fishing. Students also produced essays on the Tuskegee airmen, world-renowned Crucians, a Virgin Islands currency, and more.
These exhibits seek to tie St. Croix to its past and present community contributors, and the NPS invites everyone to come experience the exhibit and see the student’s work.
