Home Loan Workshop To Be Held On St. Croix And St. Thomas For Veterans

ST. THOMAS — The Virgin Islands Office of Veterans Affairs will host a home loan workshop on July 6 and 9 on St. Croix and St. Thomas respectively, according to a press release issued on Tuesday.

Veterans residing on the St. John who would like to attend the workshop on St. Thomas are advised to contact the St. Thomas office so that transportation can be provided from Cruz Bay to the venue.

The St. Croix workshop will be held at the D.C. Canegata Recreation Center starting at 6pm on July 6, while the St. Thomas event happens on the 9th of the same month at the SFC Leonard B. Francis Readiness Center (Armory) in Estate Nazareth starting at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of the workshop is to educate veterans of this territory on the home loan benefits that are available to them. There will be representatives from First Bank, Banco Popular and the Housing Finance Authority.
