ST. THOMAS — Separate domestic violence incidents here on Monday saw two women, 26-year-old Danielle E. Christopher of Vester Gade and 43-year-old Anita Mohammad of Frydenahl being remanded to the Bureau of Corrections, VIPD Public Information Officer Kevin Jackson has announced.

According to Jackson, Mohammad was arrested and charged with disturbance of the peace and threat (DV) on Monday, August 10 at 7:10 p.m. in conjunction with an incident where she threatened to kill her spouse after returning to their residence intoxicated.

She was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advise-of-rights hearing.

Earlier the same day at about 10:30 a.m., Christopher was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery (DV). Christopher was taken into custody based on her involvement in an altercation with her sister, where she spat in her sibling’s face and attempted to strike her with a crystal ornament.

Christopher was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending her advise-of-rights hearing.
