St. Thomas’ Rashawn Ross is living his dream. The trumpeter began his journey as a musician in the 3rd grade at Ulla F. Muller Elementary School, where he discovered his love of the trumpet. Ross is an accomplished session musician, working with artists in many different genres of music ranging from funk, rock, jazz, hip-hop, gospel and country music. His journey in sound has lead him to become one of the most recognizable and sought after trumpet players in music today. Rashawn is the trumpet player and Musical Director for the world famous Dave Matthews Band. Meet Rashawn Ross, USVI Ambassador.
